Windows Search 4.0(윈도우 검색 4.0)이 발표되었다.

테크넷 뉴스레터 6월 11일자(Volume 10, Issue 12: June 11, 2008) 따르면,

"Windows Search가 개선되었으며, Windows Search 4.0 이 다운로드 가능하다. 이번 4.0 버전에서는 좀더 나은 검색 기능화, 공유 위치에 대한 원격 쿼리 지원 등이 개선되었다"고 소개하고 있다.

원도우 환경에 따라 아래 링크에서 Windows Search 4.0을 다운로드하여 설치할 수 있다.

또한, Sysinternals tools에 대해서도 Sysinternals Live 베타 서비스를 시작한다고 소개한다. 이 서비스는 Sysinternals tools을 웹에서 바로 다운로드 할 수 있도록 한 서비스로써 각각 하나씩 다운로드 할 수 있다. 다운로드 하기 위해서는 툴의 Sysinternals Live경로를 Windows Explorer(탐색기) 주소창에 입력하거나, 명력 프롬토트(실행)에서 \\live.sysinternals.com\tools\<툴 이름>을 입력하거나, Sysinternals Live tools 경로를 인터넷 브라우저에서 열면 된다.

Sysinternals Tool의 Live 주소는 live.sysinternals.com\tools\<툴 이름> 이다.

예를 들어 윈도우 탐색기에 live.sysinternals.com\tools\process explorer를 입력하면 된다.
